- Fibers for topsheet:
The fibers provide a topsheet with a very good softness. The uniformity of the web and the fiber’s spin finish ensure an efficient and fast transportation of the liquids to the absorbent core.
Fibers for leg cuffs: The hydrophobicity is obtained by applying a fiber spin finish. The uniform carded, thermal bonded web gives a water resistent barrier which prevents leakage and minimizes skin rash.
Fibers for acquisition layers: The fibers are permanently hydrophilic which guarantees prompt passage of the liquids into the absorbent core. The open structure of the nonwoven web ensures a fast liquid distribution and absorption and the utilization of a wide area of the core.
