The FiberVisions Athens plant just completed 10 years without a lost time accident. The last time the plant experienced an accident that caused lost production time, was Aug. 29, 1999, and since then the 85 people who work at the plant have worked 1.8 million man hours without a lost-time accident.
The company will host an “open house” celebration Oct. 10 at the Olympic Drive plant for the employees and their families.
FiberVisions is an international supplier of specialized synthetic fiber used in products such as wipes, diapers, filters, and other hygiene products. The company operates manufacturing plants in the U.S., Denmark, China and Argentina.
